- Shared-device and shift-worker sign-in patterns that suit care and venue staff
Teams as your phone system
Teams Phone can replace a traditional PBX, and for a single-site office it is frequently the right answer. For a club or a care campus the calculation is different: you may need paging, nurse-call integration, door intercoms, analogue lines for a lift or a fire panel, and handsets that survive a wet bar area.

A caution worth stating
Teams is not an appropriate place to discuss identifiable clinical detail unless your retention, access and eDiscovery settings have been configured for it — and in most tenants we inherit, they have not been. This is worth deciding before the habit forms, not after.
